WHEELCHAIR ALARMS
- If alarm sounds, assist the resident to sit correctly in his or her wheelchair.
- Replace the magnetic circle onto the metallic circle on the alarm to stop the alarm from sounding.
- Before walking away, ensure the resident needs no further assistant.
- Always make sure that wheelchair brakes are applied when walking away from a resident.
